A Great Find!

I just wanted to post about this before to many days went by. So while walking up to my dorm I looked down on the ground and found this huge earring. I thought "Hey! This looks like it would be great for Lolita somehow!" and I just took it. It's actually very pretty and big enough that I can make it into a necklace somehow. Which I'll post about that when I get around to making it into a necklace. Now here is the picture of it right after I found it.



See? It'll be a very nice necklace to have to start out with. =] It's amazing how you can find great things for free just laying out on the ground. Though when I first saw it on the ground I was all like "What is this huge earring doing here?" I guess it was meant for me then. x]

My Starting Point

We all start from somewhere, obviously. Through these 2 years of enjoying to look at Lolita, I've only collected one real JSK. I've gathered various information throughout these years that you can find out on a site like hellolace.net, which is an amazing information site, and lurking through EGL on livejournal, which is a great Lolita community. I really do not have much else to say for this post since I have almost nothing that I'm starting from, and you can only do so much with just looking at things. During my journey, I hope to see the improvement I've made.

A Journey into Lolita

I have seen many blogs that are run by experienced Lolita, but too few that are run by those just starting. Yes, I would say I'm inexperienced, but I thought it would be nice to have someone's journey into this beautiful lifestyle rather than some of the other blogs that say, "I've been there and done that, trust me." While you're thinking "I really can't see how you went from where I am to that!" I hope I can enlighten even someone out there who is hesitant about it and show them that they can get to the experienced Lolita level too! ( Which I hope to get to too. ;] )

Since it's getting late and I have to get up early tomorrow, I'll stop here for now. A post will show up again in the next couple of days. =]
